    Hi,
Off to Corralejo for a week on Sunday. Staying nearish to the waterpark if anyone knows the area.
Just wondering is it a long walk to the beaches at the dunes. They look like the best beaches around.
    Cheers

It's not that long a walk. Stayed in Las Marismas, right next to the aqua park, and the walk took maybe 40 mins, but be warned, in the heat it's a killer to walk as there is no shelter from the sun as you go along and if it's windy (think about what the name of the island means!), you can get really sand blasted too!

For the sake of about €4 in a taxi, it's not worth it...

Stayed in the Marimas last year beside the water park. Had a great time. Dunes are wonderful but you are probably better hiring your own transport or getting a taxi because it can be a hot walk.

Might look at hiring a couple of bicycles. Anyone done this?

No. Bikes for hire are freely available, but most I saw were in really bad condition. Some car hire places have bikes too and they seemed a bit better.
