    Hi guys,

I'm looking at taking up running seriously, does anybody know where I could find a decent and reasonably priced pedometer to keep tabs on my distances?

I'd just use mapmyrun when you're starting off and then a month or so into it, when you're happy that you like running and it's going to be a medium to long term prospect for you, invest in a garmin or a polar (there's plenty of informative threads on each here).

Best of luck and enjoy it.

If starting off, I found the beginner runners program on the mini-marathon web site really great.
