    Hi there,

I've asked my parents to get me some cool vintage jewellery for my 21st.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where I could find some quality pieces, either online or in Cork / Dublin?

    Thanks in advance
    :)

    Hey,

There is a fab shop in the English Market in Cork City which sells vintage jewellery along with other vintage items, unfortunately, I can't remember what its called but it the only one in there.

I picked up a beautiful vintage cameo brooch for my mam there recently

Ohohoh! I know the perfect place: Rhinestones on St.Andrews Street in Dublin. Divine vintage jewellery but expensive. Perfect if someone else is paying! There's also Jenny Vander on Drury Street in town, friend got a gorgeous ring there for not horrific money.

Or how about ebay? If you know what you want there is some gorgeous stuff, just be careful and buy from a proper professional seller.

    Have fun!

Why don't you get your folks to get you a ticket to London for a weekend and hit up the markets?

That's a list of 'em around, but tbh, I'd be surprised if you didn't find some great pieces on Portobello road. You've also got the advantage that it's 'proper vintage' rather than 'vintage to be cool' (overpriced) and you're making a weekend of it.
