Was just looking at the sticky on Bricks and Mortar sellers and it mentioned Ariosa and Fallon and Byrne and that they roast and grind their own beans. I will be in the city centre and want to treat myself to some new types of beans (happy days :D), do these sellers sell the beans without grinding them? and can anyone recommend a few I could try? I like chocolatey earthy coffees but while looking for some like that I also want to branch out.................

    Suggestions welcomed :D

    Thanks.

Edit: should have said, am using pour over and french press these days, so suggestions for coffees suitable for those methods of brewing appreciated :)

you can find the Ariosa at the Saturday market in Meeting house square.

they will sell you the beans or can grind them if you wish. You can also have a cup while you're there.

Fallon and Byrne have a rather large selection of coffee's. Not that I have tried any of them, but someone here once posted that they just re-sell the Ariosa as their house blend, not sure how true that is...
F&B are on Exchequer street, just off George Street.

Another place you can try is Coffee angel (http://www.coffeeangel.com/).
You can buy roasted beans from their outlets and also sample any of the bags that they sell. a Tad pricey though at roughly 7 / 8 euro a bag.
