    Hi

Did anyone else do these this week?

I did all four for the first time and they really weren't what I was expecting at all.
SLKM was a good paper I feel confident with this one
ACF was good too I don't think it was as tough as they could have made it
ACR was a disaster for me I definitely failed it
AT was ok I just ran out of time on every question, the marking scheme on this one competely through me.

How did everyone else find it?

I sat the Audit Practice exam yesterday. Was very happy with it. Passed my Prof 1's in April so i just wanted to get one out of the way and this seemed to be the handiest (in my opinion anyway as i do quite a bit of auditing at work).
I found the open book very helpful. Did you copy stuff straight from your book for any questions? I found bits and pieces in my BPP textbook that i wrote in word for word in my exam paper.

    Hi

Yep I copied a good bit of stuff straight from my books, I found that a lot of questions were related to the examiners articles so I copied for that too but tried to add my own stuff as well..
I think you really need to know your stuff to benefit from having the books there. One or two things I was stuck on I found it just a waste of time having the books because I spent too much time looking things up.

Good plan getting one of them out of the way I couldn't do it last year because I failed law in august and had to do it in April. I've done all the exams from fromation 1 upwards and thought of doing another year studying is killing me.

    Fingers crossed we get them.

Yeah best of luck to ya. I'm sure it'll work out. I heard Corp Reporting was a nightmare. I'd be confident of getting SLKM...whats Tax like?

Try a new thread looking for books/notes. BPP or Griffith college do revision courses & distance study books if you want to try their websites.
I was exempt from both so don't have anything.

    Thanks Crazzzzy,

I have both BPP & Griffith College manuals as I am completing course through Distance Learning but they are very bulky just looking to cover the basic topics - just enuf to get me the pass result not looking for spectacular results.

Thanks very much for the help and advise - greatly appreciated
