I contacted a guy advertising on another website looking for a good home for a Huskey Pup and this is what my reply was

    Hello,
Thanks for the mail and your interest toward my lovely babies. They
are male and female,11weeks 2days old. They are champion bloodline,
registered, vet check , dna tested..well tamed and potty
trained, good associate of kids and other house hold pets also simple
to learn. To begin I will start asking you some questions.
    -Are you a breeder?
    -Do you have kids?
    -Are use to puppies?
-Are you sure that you are going to take care of any of my babies?
-Gift me a Brief Description about your Environment?
-Do you have a vet doctor?
-Were Exactly are you located? i am giving out them for free
since they were owned and taken care of by my late daughter whom i
lost to a drunk driver two weeks ago.due to the mobile nature of my
work since i work with EDICEF,i have relocated
to Belfast and now i am in seminar that would last for
3months and it will not be possible for mr to take
proper care of the puppies which was a sole responsibility of my late
daughter. They really do remind me of her sad memories all the time i
look at them and hurts deeply.. So, my greatest desire is to find
someone who can properly take care of the puppies and if you can i
will be so grateful, i can arrange for delivery if you cannot come
    right up here for the
pick... Delivery am sure will be moderate since we spent just just too
little bringing the puppies up here. If this is ok by you, i will
immediately need the following details in order to drop off the
puppies as soon as possible at the delivery agency so that delivery
can be done to your home soonest..
    Names in full...................
    Home address.................
    City/Town.....................
    ...
    Mobile number...............
    Land line number.............
    Postal code...................
Be reminded that these puppies are for free and all you will have to
do is to pay £100 only for the delivery of each of the puppies to the
delivery agency which will deliver the puppies to your home.My prayer
is that you love and care for these puppies just as my daughter did and i
will be always great-full to you if you should.Do let me know if all
    is fine.07023076942
    best regard

scam,...avoid like the plague...a good giveaway is the crap spelling, poor language skills and grammar, punctuation etc.
But the most obvious one is simple...if it's too good to be true...it's a scam! Follow this simple rule and you'll be fine.
Normally you see these for car sales where the seller is located in England etc and you pay for delivery charges...nice to see they've moved onto pups now :D

to be honest that sounds like a scam to me. This particular scam has been doing the rounds for some time now. Chances are you'd get a phone call off the "Delivery Agency" after paying the initial 100 that further payment is needed as the pup is karger than expected or something like that.
No racism intended but a lot of these scams are run by foreign nationals and the way that email is written doesnt sound like an irish person.Plus what 11 week old dog is potty trained?

    Scam all the way.
Where did you find this site?

Please look for reputable breeders when looking for a dog.

    100% SCAM!!!!
I got loads of them when I was looking for my maltese puppy. the pictures even look like ones they robbed from the internet.

they all start pretenting they just want the besr home for their 'babies' then always use some sob story then always say they have relocated and all they ask for is the delivery fee direct to the delivery company which will actually be the scammer.
and Ive also noticed that if you read them carefully you will notice that some phrases arent proper english indicating that they prob are pretneding to be a native.

avoid all those websites advertising puppies for really cheap or free

check out done deal.ie. they have little or no scams, very well monitored. also just ring the irsh kennel club and they will put you in touch with breeders in your area (its worth the peace of mind).

    Good Luck!!

You can't be serious? Donedeal? No scams and well monitored?

Granted there are plenty of genuine breeders advertising on there, but to claim that it has little or no scams on it (or that its well monitored) is very mis-leading. Most of the monitoring is done by genuine people who browse the site and report the obvious scams on there - which can take from 1hr to 4 days to be deleted once reported.

Just do your homework OP - and heed the previous posters advice - if it looks too good to be true, it most likely is too good to be true and hence false.

definitely a scam. If you are seriously considering getting a husky then check out the official website for the All Ireland Siberian Husky Club http://www.allirelandsiberianhuskyclub.webs.com

    As everyone else said- scam.

When I was looking for a Chihuahua pup last year, I cam across loads of those scams while trying to find a breeder. For some reason, they were all based out of Belfast too. Does anyone know why?

I think we've answered the OPs question.

Always be vigilant when getting puppies/dogs/animals, make sure *you* ask the right questions and don't be afraid to be suspicious.
