back to shool clothing allowance

    i have heard from a college classmate yesterday that 3rd level students can recieve this allowance for themselves .
    does anyone know if this is true and where to apply for it ?

    Don't really think this is the case. Students in full time education and 22 or under (basically non mature students) are covered under the scheme but your parents must apply, not the student themselves. Income limits are quite low, depending on how many children in the family but you can get up to €520 so it's definitely worth getting your folks to give it a try. Contact your local health centre or text FORM BTSCFA followed by your name and address to 51909 (standard text rates apply) and they'll post it out to you. It's worth noting that closing date is Sept 30th.
