Minimum 8 applicants for course to start?

[rant] Seen a requirement for Hons Degree add-on, basicly says "Minimum 8 applicants for course to commence or the college has the right to cancel it" There's only 8 good students in my course at the moment never mind 1 year from now. [/rant]

yes i can assure you this is the case, i did the hons degree 2 years ago and last year they didn't have enough numbers to run the course, so the people the year behind who wanted to do the hons degree had to go elsewhere.

i applied for a course and paid in full only to be told that this course was not available due to a lack of interest but it is available to those on the social welfare who get it for free???
