Cant turn off ipod

    Hi

    May seem like stupid question all but when I press the button to turn off my ipod it goes off but straight away it comes back on again (wasting my battery over short time).

    anybody now what im doing wrong or how quickly fix it?

    Sounds faulty...

    But,

    Have you tried reinstalling the ipod's software? if you have and it still switches on involuntarily then you have to send your ipod in to apple to have it repaired (hopefully it's still under warranty?)

    I assume your turning it off by holding the TPlayPause.gif button and then turning on the hold switch?
