Keep an eye on buyandsell.ie, there has been a few(but not many) on there over the last year.

There's lads cycling to the All-Ireland on Sunday from Kilkenny on High-Nellies, I'll ask around and see if any of them will be for sale afterwards.

I woud do a sportive on mine if I could get the brakes anyway acceptable for group riding. Those rod brakes really are useless. I also need to replace the pedals as one snapped off a few weeks ago.

Didn't Mick Murphy do part of An Ras Tailteann on a High Nelly in 1958, the year he won it? I presume "the ordinary bicycle" referred to below was a High Nelly, or similar.

But disaster struck when his bike failed on the run into Glanmire. He was at a stand-still and the field swept by and disappeared from view. Suddenly a farmer appeared at a gap holding on to an ordinary bicycle. This gave Iron Man an idea, and in a jiffy he was on the substitute, leaving a startled farmer behind holding another bike.
