    Hi!
Are you officially here on behalf of CICs in the country?
Is it a new move to give advice online through boards?

    Hi snubbleste

I work for the Citizens Information Board which supports the CICs around the country.

I spoke with the guys at boards.ie about contributing to the forum and they set up me with this "official representative" account where my username is in red and so on.

We are interested in answering queries online and we might move to a "talk to us" type arrangement at some point in the future. For now I plan to contribute where I can and hopefully help to answer some of the queries that are coming up.

    Graham

That's great, sounds like a very positive move on behalf of the agency to interact with clients online.

    Hi Graham,

I recieved stat redundancy in Nov last yr, i am on jsb at the moment. Am i entitled to received BTEA? I was also referred for BTEA by FAS as part of the National Employment Plan.

I am a bit freaking out that I may not get it as i am after borrowing 1500 to register for college when really if i dont get the BTEA I am flipped and cant really go to college.

    thanks for any help

As mod on this forum, I have to say Graham is a very welcome addition to the board. Citizen's Information website is a fountain of knowledge and any help from their side is more than appreciated.
