Argos Furniture

Hi, I'm looking for a new corner sofa and the only one I've seen with the exact colours I want is in Argos but want to know if anyone has any experience of buying furniture from them and if so has it been good/ bad, its really hard to know cos (A) there cheaper than elsewhere and (B) u cant actually ask to see the sofa.. any information is appreciated;)

We bought a leather sofa from Homebase* two years ago and it's perfect. Haven't had a problem with it, the leather is of good quality and it's very comfortable. Couldn't have asked for more.

It was also delivered in less than two weeks, most other places wanted us to wait 12 weeks for delivery!!

*Homebase has the same furniture as Argos, they are part of the same group. Our sofa was in the Argos catalogue but we saw it first in Homebase, that's the only reason we bought it there.

As said abover homebase and argos are the same company. Although in Homebase you get to feel an expensive purchase. With a sofa the sitting on it is as important as how it looks.

Yup, our leather suite was cheaper than other leather suites we had seen so we felt it was important to be able to test whatever we bought. We would never have bought it if we had only seen it in the Argos catalogue but having the chance to sit on it in Homebase was great
