If you dropped out I assume you don't have the cert at all.

Whatever training you do will obviously help. I mean the economy will get better just might take a few years. I work in IT myself and all these IT language based jobs are a pain in the ase no doubt. Im gonna start a VMware course next week.

My advice take a course with a reputable coutse provider. if your not working see if you can get FAS to subsidise (worth a try)

talk about putting the cart before the horse. If you want a job that's in-demand and paying relatively good money then try Accountancy, Software Development, Database Administration, or Insurance Expert. If you want to pluck buzzwords like 'Renewable Energy' from threads without knowing anything about them, i don't think anyone can help you.

your first question should not be "where are the jobs", it should be "what can i offer this industry". If you dropped out of a Cert because you didn't like Java, what makes you think you'd like Engineering or Science? ..or any analytical job for that matter.
