I was aiming for the Nikon D60 camera in the FTP store for ages and once I reached the 120,000 points required I ordered it.
A day or two later they emailed:

Our records show you have a pending order for the Nikon D60 camera.
Unfortunately, this item has recently been discontinued and is no longer
available. Therefore, we have canceled the order and refunded the points
    to your account.

    We apologize for any inconvenience.

    Regards,

    Riley
    Full Tilt Store

The camera remained for another week or so on the store the eventually was removed.

Today I see it has returned but now costs 170,000 points.

I emailed them to see how I would go about getting my original order completed (at 120k of course) and await response.

Anyone else in the same boat or have any suggestions how I could "encourage" them to send it??? No way I want to give them 170k now.

u sure it's the same camera and not the new model?

It could be cos the $ and euro exchange rates have changed since when they first put it up so now it's more expensive when they covert to euro's and so costs more points.

But check the model number, they took all the camera's off at the same time so I was kind of thinking they must be getting the new models in.

Good point. Nikon D60 is and was the model. Seems to be replaced in real world shops with the Nikon D3000 though so perhaps they have a large stock they are hoping to unload. I dunno.
It may have a second lens 55-200mm this time around as a way of making it technically a different offering. I may have missed it with the old blurb but I thought it was only the 18-55mm lens first time around. Dang. Cute hoors.
    Thanks BigToad

Started playing full tilt in the last month or so.

When I looked at entering a few MTTs 2 weeks ago, I was given the option of buying in with FTPs. Because of the Take 2 promotion, and the Happy Hour promotion, my FTPs have been steadily increasing and I was considering using them to enter MTTs

When I went to do this last night, the option for paying with FTPs had disappeared.

Wondering is this related to your issue? Was I was seeing things 2 weeks ago? Or have FT have changed their policy?

Anyone ever use FTPs to buy-in to an MTT?

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

Some MTTs have FTP buy ins. Most are cash.

I have never seen one where you can use FTPs as cash.

Appreciate the response. This was bugging me so I went back to FT to check it again.

I thought you could buy into a Cash MTT with FTPs (as you can on PS if you are Supernova, or something like that). Not a problem with FTP MTTs - understand how that works.

Anyway, I found the problem. The MTT I saw 2 weeks ago was the 'Daily Dollar' MTT which you can buy into for 200 FTPs. I obviously assumed this was applicable to all MTTs at a rate of 200 FTPs per Dollar. Need to look at a wider sample set next time - because it seems that this is the only Cash MTT I can now find where this works.

So....... I guess I'll have to find something else to spend my FTPs on.

    Cheers!!!!

I didn't know you could do that. I thought it was only the satellites for the DD you could use FTPs for. (Is that the DD rebuy or freeze out?)

    LMAO

No email back from FTP customer service but the camera has again been removed from the store only about 24hrs after it reappeared.

Classic. They were no doubt getting hassled about it and took the easy route.

Their EU store is a bit of a joke.

Freezeout is the one I checked.

    Excellent!

FT have the MiniFTOPS running from Sept 9th - and you can buy in using FTPs. SORTED!!!!! Now I know what to use those FTPs for.

Main Event on Sept 20th is only 11,000 FTPs
