Is anybody else having trouble downloading the Irish Language Interface Pack for MS WORD 2007/VISTA?

I'm going to the microsoft website, downloading the stated file here - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/thankyou.aspx?familyId=91426c33-ea45-482d-af08-cd8ea8cbfd53&displayLang=ga - and it is downloading Dutch or some other language.

Does anybody know where I could get the proper Irish language download?

    Thanks.

    How about this link:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=91426c33-ea45-482d-af08-cd8ea8cbfd53&displaylang=ga

I've uninstalled my MS Office and am using Open Office with the Gaeilge interface.

That link also leads to the same Dutch or some other language interface pack (when you click the download). Very strange. Is there actually an Irish Interface pack for 2007 or is it a mistake?

I've never heard of Open Office. What is the disadvantage in uninstalling my existing MS Office and replacing it with Open Office?

That's strange. I don't know there was one for 2007 until you posted here, I only knew of the 2003 version.

The only disadvantage that I've come across is that Open Office's version of MS Access isn't as good as the Microsoft software. Apart from that, everything else was an advantage, especially the fact that it's free and the PDF creation tool is handy.

Very interesting. How is Microsoft making money from it then? What's their interest in giving their stuff for free? I paid for the 2007 software when I bought this laptop; it was pre-installed. It seems odd that they give pretty much the same product for free to people when they charge a fair whack to others for buying it. I could understand it being restricted to schools/educational institutions and charities, though.

OpenOffice.org is not linked in any way to Microsoft. It's a full suite of open-source office applications, produced primarily by a community of volunteer developers and translators.
