    Hey folks,

I recently purchased a plasma tv and only noticed recently that it has a built in Digital TV Tuner (DTT) and I am managing to pick up BBC 3,4 and a handful of other channels.

Just wondering is there somewhere that I can find a list of frequencies for other digital free channels or something that I can add that will give me any more?

You'll have to forgive me I know nada about this sort of thing, appreciate any info you guys can offer thanks! :)

Perform a scan on your television and that will give you everything available to you.

You can get a list of channels here: http://www.freeview.co.uk/freeview/Channels

Not necessarily.... If you are in a week signal area you won't pick up all the channels. It's worth doing a rescan, but i wouldn't be surprised if you didn't pick any more.

I agree. But would manually tuning allow you to view weaker channels?

Because it's digital, you would get digital break up (indeed, in my experience even auto-tuned channels can have digital break-up). A bad analogue signal is less annoying and more watchable than a poor digital signal with digital break-up.

I take it that this is the UK DVB that you're receiving then yeah? If it's in ROI I'd love to know how you're managing to pick up BBC.

Yea, I'm assuming it's the UK DVB that the OP is talking about.
You can pick it up in the ROI in some of the border counties. Monaghan and Louth especially. I've also hear of some people in wicklow/wexford picking up signals from wales.

Thanks for the help lads, I did a rescan and picked up a good few other channels too such as E4, ITV 1-4 etc. I am indeed in Louth dark knight, tis dead on as the house I just moved into doesn't have Sky so the few extra channels are a bonus :)

There are a lot of other channels too but its telling me that the signal is too weak, is there anyway of boosting it?

    Thanks for your responses.

A better antennae can work wonders and there are signal amplifiers available.
