Submersible water pump

    Hi all,

Getting our water well bored next week, ive gone in with the 3 new sites beside me to get a good rate from one contractor. Were getting it done for €8 a foot , and current wells in the area are at 60-100 feet.

My build will have an external pump house for the geothermal rig. So im hoping to bore as close to this as we can.

However I know nothing about these submersible water pumps. Do I need a higher spec pump than normal because we going to have geothermal (not sure if horizontal or vertical yet)

Does the pump need to pump water further or at higher pressure than a normal domestic setup?
    Tks.
