Greek - Series 3 [US]

Been a big fan of Greek since the first series, goes from strength to strength. The series 3 premiere was broadcast in the US on Monday, not seen it yet but should watch it soon.

So two ep. have dropped thus far and as usual from Greek i liked what i saw, it's a fun and silly show but has enough entertainment value to keep you interested. It's got some good characters like Cappie and all the girls from ZBZ are super cute.

Actually they have one girl from ZBZ called Bess, i love her!...total airhead but very funny and cute, she is only a background character though, i'd love if she got a more prominent role.

If you come across Greek do give it a shot.

Aww!....series 3 finale tonight, lasts weeks ep. was the worst of the season, if not the worst. But overall it's been great!

I do hope ABC Family give it a fourth season, the upfronts for the channel are in late January.

Lea Thompson, has been cast as Cappie’s free-spirited mother, April, while Jim Abele (24) will play his non-conformist father, Tobias.

They will appear during the second half of the show’s upcoming 10-episode cycle (debuting Jan. 25).

Greek returns this Monday on ABC Family, new timeslot...10pm ET.
Great news, really good show....but i have a weird feeling it's gonna be cancelled during the upfronts in late January, but i hope not!

So Greek returned last night with a solid enough ep. - Cappie and ZBZ hotties all present and accounted for, the usual fun and frolics. i like the little retro quotes they throw in from old movies, or they'll make comments on other shows....like Scrubs in this ep. - the refrenced The Hills quite a few times, in fact Lauren Conrad guest starred in one ep.!

Nothing new in the latest ep. - it's Greek, the show IMO has always been well written and tight in so much it's genre and target audience, which is not limited to tweenies....i think guys would like this show as well.

Not watched the most recent.. but I really think Greek has lost it's way since mid-way through season 2.

Said it once and said it before - Clark Duke is the absolute star of the show. He's doing the best in the movie world with a standout performance in 'Sex Drive'.. and both 'Hot Tub Time Machine' and 'Kick Ass' this year. And he's completely under-used as Dale!

There's too much of the tired Cappie & Casey "will-they-won't-they?".

The third season is a far-cry from the latter half of the first season which was when the show really found it's feet!

I 100% agree that Dale/Cark Duke is terrific....he has a bunch of new movies out this year!, as you mentioned. He's the type of look that will do well in Indie and teen comedy roles. I suspect he's more then capable of serous roles...if given the oppertunity.

The series thus far has been excellent, on par with series one....i'm talking about the latest 10 ep. batch. Katherine and Rusty?....LOL!, i thought they were great together, it's a 180 for the Katherine character.

We might get to see another side of her, of note...did you see Nora Kirkpatrick in that red dress????????........OMG!!!!!, absolute stunner!

Haha!....Dale and Laura??????....no way!
Another brilliant ep. all the stuff with Rusty/Dana and Katherine was ace. Cappie and Casy...another breakup!

Very enjoyable finale, i got the sense watching that it felt like the very last ever ep. or they knew it was coming to an end, but overall great fun and very well written.

I'll be sad to see this show go, but for me it's one of the three best shows ever by ABC Family (incl. Kyle XY, Wildfire).

Final series (season 4 - 10 episodes) returns last Tuesday in August, 31st i think.
