connecting psp to playstation network

everyt time i try remote play over the internet it gives me the sign in page, when i use my password, it says "Use of PLAYSTATION(R)Network is suspended for this account"
any insight?

Did you get banned from the PSN or something?

The only thing I can think if is to make sure that the PSP you're using is activated on the PS3. I'm sure you've probably already done this but just make sure that the PSP is listed in the device list on the PS3 and is activated with the right account on your PS3.

It's possible that firmware 3.0 messed things up, I haven't used remote play since the update so I'll have to check that mine still works as well.

it was before then though. can always sing in on the ps3.
the psp is paired with the ps3, i can turn it on using the private connection but not over the internet

Have you enabled 'Allow connection via internet' in remote play settings on the PS3?

i updated the psp to 5.51 and it works now

Where you using custom firmware and what game were you trying to play?

none, i was trying to use remote play, couldnt even get onto the ps3. it should connect noe though going by messing around woth it.
i've never used custom firmware on it.
