    Hi Folks,

    Just a heads up...

On Friday September 25th Culture Night Sligo will see arts and cultural organisations round Sligo open till late late.

The complete schedule of what's on is available from the Sligo Arts Service including gigs, exhibitions, workshops, art trails round town, and tons more, there really will be a huge amount of excellent choice.
    Some links-
    Sliglow at the Glasshouse,
Hidden Cultural Gems Walk & Lecture
    Pop Up Gigs
    SLAM Art Crawl
Dress Up Box Projection-Yeats' poems and Sligo people
Tea & Art Cupcakes at Sligo Art Gallery
Live Art & Circus Acts at the Factory courtyard with Itchyfeet
Theatre Workshops with the Blue Raincoat
    Young Model Short Films
    Jazz at Tobergal
    .......to name but a few!

Oh yes and all events are free!

Culture night started off in Dublin about 4 years ago and has since been spreading nationwide. It's similar to Nuit Blanche (White Night) that is extremely popular in France and Canada and see's the doors of cultural orgs open into the wee hours of the morning.

Bus Eireann are also running "Musical Buses" to bring people to town so you can hop on the Sligo Live bus from Cartron, the traditional singing bus from Cliffoney or the live music in the classroom bus from Rosses Point.(€3 return)
