This 1942 map of a “New World Moral Order” was created by U.S military minds as a vision of the planet once they “crush and completely destroy” the axis nations, noting that “For the reasons of history, economic structure, favourable geography and the welfare of mankind, the U.S.A must, altruistically, assume the leadership of the newly established, democratic world order.” and that “the invincibility of the U.S.A as a military, naval and air power, shall be the major prerequisite.”

This is an impressive litany of proposed atrocities, check the list at the bottom of the map (the RoI seems to come out "on top" though with a united Ireland).

There's also a list of the proposals detailed here.

    Mad stuff, worth a read.

Interesting stuff CuLT, thanks for posting :)

Interesting too that, on the map, the Middle East is refered to as 'Hebrew Land' and seems to consist of modern day Israel and Jordan, Hmmmmm..... Food for thought, eh? ;)

Whats intriguing is that the map assumes a split in Europe more or less where the "Iron Curtain" was to be and that the EEC founding members apart from (west) Germany are all lumped together. Poor old Ireland seems to be shut out on its own.

don't speak too soon, if we get another 'No' vote in this Lisbon thing that might be just the way we end up :D

I'm actually quite impressed that they decided not to give Ireland "back" to the Brits.
All persons of German, Italian and Japanese origin shall be permanently expelled from their now conquered territories and their property confiscated for post-war construction needs.

The plan to make the Germans, Italians and Japanese the homeless scum of the earth seems a little drastic.

    Interesting.
    25. The areas known as Eire and Northern Ireland shall be unified as a demiliterised independent republic of Eire
I'm surprised Eire even got a mention tbh, and even more surprised that it mentions a "Unified" republic.

Apparently Germany was to become a 'rural superfarm', and only the top Germans would be allowed to own a bicycle

    fookin hell :D

kinda fits in with the Morganthau plan

later rejected in favour of the Marshall Plan

Interesting that the British commonwealth of nations was to be their first partner of choice in administering the new world order. The special relationship between the 2 countries ( USA + UK ) seemingly existed even back then.
