Hey,

Was just wondering, am heading to Maynooth on the 14th. I've just received my Bank Draft thingy and just have a question.

It says I owe €1577 for service charge and levy, and €0 for tuition, but I've done 2 years in another college before so thought I would be paying fees.

Should this be on my bank draft letter or am i to work it out mtself?

I had to pay the same tuition fees for a year here. I think it's a seperate draft. You probably should have received it.

Go to studentweb.nuim.ie with your (new, if you have it yet) username and password and see if there's a balance.

If not then you will be billed at registration/given the draft.

I did a year in UCD before coming to Maynooth.

During registration, I was asked if I was aware of this and the full charge ( :rolleyes: ), and was asked to pay now, or later.

SO, you'll be asked during registration.

Or you might get lucky and they won't ask! If this happens, SAY NOTHING!

But I just tell everyone it was Archaeology to sound a little bit more...well....varied.

I was planning on doing the single honours in it, but Maynooth came a knocking! Haven't looked back.*

Any postgrads have any info on when/whether the deposit we paid to PAC to accept our course will be deducted from the fees balance?

I received my bank giro form but there was no mention of the approx €260 paid to PAC. I have paid my student levy and half my fees but I'd really like to know where the €260 is gone!
