I have to travel from Dundalk to UCD in belfield next week. I've never driven directly there by car. I'm just wondering what's the quickest way to get there. Should i go through the port tunnel ? or is there a better way. Many thanks for any replies.

The Port tunnel is fine, if you are happy to pay the toll (€12 or €6 depending on the time and the €1.70 toll for the Eastlink.

thanks for the reply. Just wondering what would traffic be like at around 8 in the morning from the south entrance of the port tunnel to UCD. How long long roughly would it take to get there from the south entrance at that time. Thanks again.
