    Folks,

Im looking to get my passport form signed, but the local Garda station seems to be closed by the time I get there.
Can any garda station stamp and sign the passport form?

Typically no but I live in North Tipp and had mine stamped in Blanchardstown Garda station.

That is because I am a sales rep and get around the country so it was just easiest for me because I got the photos done in Blanch shopping centre and had an appointment next to the post office in Blanch village.

I had to explain this because I was not getting it done local. I said "I get home around 7-8pm every night and my Garda station closes at 7:30PM."

Even try the closest to your local, once ye have ID and all, shouldnt be a big deal

Do ye have anything else like Agecard or License?

Yep, I have the expired passport (getting a renewal) and my drivers license also.

It should be fine one you explain that x station is closed and you have some ID. It's only in small places that gardai know the locals nowadays anyway - the gardai in city stations don't have a clue who you are so it's no difference where you go really.

once you have valid ID with you, no reason why any garda station cant do it for you, i got them to do it in the one next to my job when i was getting new passport
