Well depending on where your staying you might not get parking right outside your house. The last time I saw college road here was no parking allowed on it. There is the side streets which can be full.

For a permit I think you need to be reg on the voters list that address, have two bills or statements in your name and that address and you car tax and insurance in that address also. You will also need your rent book. If you bring all that to the city hall and you speak to a nice person you should be able to get the permit then and there.:) The permit will allow you to park within a certain area of the city only.

    Hope that helps

Residents committee for college road put the priority on
Pedestrian students, hence the ramps and crossings. They wanted to get rid of the parking altogether.

Which part of college road are you on exactly? Down past donovans road or closer to Brookfield?

Unless the place you're staying has parking in the driveway, I don't fancy your chances. A relative of mine has had disc parking brought into her area recently and there was quite a bit of work went into getting the parking permit so I wouldn't count my chickens if I were you.
