netbook and mint

After doing several hours reading on the interweb, i've decided that linux mint seems to be the linux distro for me.


Anybody got it running on a netbook? spefically the dell mini 10V? (specs pretty much the same as any other netbook - 1Gb DDR2 ram, 160gb, Intel GMA950, atom n270 1.6ghz)

Dell actually sell Mini 10's with Ubuntu pre-installed so you should be OK for Linux hardware compatibilty. Just Googled a bit and it looks like there are some happy Mint Users with Dell Mini 10's:

thanks for that. i didi a little bit of searching and didnt come across that thread.....

Searching the Mint forums says it works fine too.
