Myself and the misses are heading to Prague and are leaning towards booking in the Caesar Palace Hotel.

Has anyone stayed there? would you recommend it? and did you book through their own website or another webiste?

    DitchDigger,

You could try the Tyl Hotel in Prague. Mrs JT has been there before and loved it. We are both going in November and will be staying there. If you book and pay in advance, they give a good discount. We are staying thursday thru to sunday for 45 euro per night (for both of us) including breakfast. Not bad eh!

It's get good reviews on tripadvisor too and is ranked 47th of the 652 Prague hotels.

Caesar Palace gets more mixed reviews and is ranked 117th.

Whichever you choose, I hope you have a great time. Can't wait myself to visit there.

    JT.

I booked my parents into Caesar Palace for a week this March and they had no probs at all with it - in fact when they asked to swap rooms for a different view or something and the staff were super nice, telling them that a room on the other side of the hotel wouldnt be ready until later that day but in the meantime they were welcome to use the room they had (which meant they could have a nap after a very early flight) and then they were moved to the room they requested when it was ready.

I booked it via www.hotels.com which I always use and have never been let down by.

Myself and the missus stayed at the Hotel U SvJana when we stayed in Prague. It's a small hotel and the few staff were friendly. It's clean, located very close to the small Prague Boatnic Gardens and it's about a 20min walk into the city centre.

I can't remember what we paid but prices were very reasonable and they collect you from the airport when you arrive in Prague which was handy.
