If she is a romantic, she will LOVE that!! honestly she will

Even get some small candles and put them around your room and have some music playing in the background too :)

    Awww!! :D

Lame, put 1 rose on her pillow, when she asks what its for just tell her "because I love you"

petals and all that are a bit over the top, unless you have a bath? get in there and put a trail leading to you, that will get a good reaction

you could do a combo of the two... have the petals on the floor/bed and then 1 rose on the pillow and she can bring that back home with her

You should put on a Bananaman costume as well. That'll really confuse her. Seriously though... good for you.

Yes its cheesy!! But its also pretty romantic! She'll like it!
Did something similar a few years ago for the ex, rose petals leading from the front door up the stairs and into a candle lit bubble bath and then from there into the bedroom where there were some rose petals on the bed and the mood was set by about 50 tea lights :)

Roses and petals etc are all well and good but it's in the nitty gritty like looking after you when you're sick, and simple things like picking up something your OH likes in the shop, even if it's just a packet of sweets, putting on her favourite cd even though I think it bites etc that true romance lies IMO, much more satisfying long term than big gestures every now and again. But +1 on the effort.
