Hi all,

Myself and OH are currently living with his uncle, however now we need to move out as one of his daughters needs the apartment,
My OH is an apprentice electrician and starting his college time on 6th October. For this he gets 363 E per week and is entitled to travel/rent allowance.

My job contract is due to end on 30th October, I'm interviewing for other jobs but if I'm left unemployed I want to know where I stand re rent allowance and dole.

We want to move before the start of october, i'll still be in full time employment, where do we stand rent allowance wise?

When I become unemployed how does the situation change?

Sorry about all the questions, I'm just not too sure about how Social Welfare works.
