For particular interest to any ex members of 2 Cav Sqn or DFHQ.

Sgt. Paul Brady (Brad) passed away whilst on Ord Sgt duty in McKee Bks this morning.

It appears Brad past away through natural causes.

Brad was a good bloke, a good mate and leaves behind a young wife and two young children.

He was only 37 years old.

    May he rest in peace.

Thanks, to be honest we're all pretty stunned.

And heaven only know's what his poor family are going through.

I work with Brad and he took over Ord Sgt from me on Tuesday morning.

Such a fantastic bloke, I just cant believe it, he spent the last hours of his life on duty in that ranch of a place!

    R.I.P mate.

Unreal. I'm sitting at home today shocked, stunned and deeply saddened.

Its simply so hard to believe, a nicer more easy going bloke you won't meet.

I just cant get my head around it at all, sure we even used to joke that "if brad was any more laid back, he'd be dead"!

Raise a glass (or two) to him later lads, it'll help maybe.

Didn't hear anything about it in work, which was strange.

RIP Sgt, condolences to his family and friends, including the lads on here that knew him.

I remember Brad's ability to sleep anywhere and anytime, I also remember him playing in goal when we won the Cavalry Cup and keeping us in a few games with some great saves, I also remember that he was an absolute gentleman. RIP.

Mak if you have any pictures of him I'd be very grateful if you post them(Via pm) as I cannot put a face to his name:o..

If He was ex Cav I'd know him as I'm in the brugha.

I don't have access to them from this computer, but I'll get them off to you over the weekend.

    You'll know Brad for sure.

He was a trooper with the Cav, done his NCO's course (not sure of the date/year) then transfered over to DFHQ & eventually getting promoted to Sgt in EPMO.

A tall lad, black hair. He played basketball & soccer to a fairly decent level but stopped due to injuries - sadly his last entery (Monday gone) on his facebook page was that he's "Too many injuries & not enough time to let them heal. I must be getting too old" :(

    I'll get you some photos.
