    Hiya-

recently I was given a BEKO 32" LCD TV (32wlu520hd).
Apart that I cannot get much details on the net about this brand/model I noticed it has a resolution of 1366 X 768 which does not match any of the standard HD 720/1080 source. Meaning that this TV set is scaling the pixels with its internal video processing chip and this can/may create image problems and resolution issues.

Sound to me a pretty cheap present ;) but anyone uses this BEKO set for HD viewing or xbox/playstation3 gaming ?

    cheers

Lots of displays/TVs scale internally. There are so many formats out there and the display can only have one native resolution. Scaling is not at all uncommon among all brands. It just depends on how good the Beko is at scaling.

Beg/borrow/steal a HD source and give it a whirl and judge the image results for yourself. You'll be the one watching it so your opinion is king.
