Hi, The only connection between my Sky+ box and my tv (in another room) is by coaxial cable. Is there any point in getting Sky HD for improved viewing ?

    Thanks

None unless you run a HDMI cable.

    No.

you could run a scart cable. between the +box and the tv this will improve the picture, and sound.

but as tony says you will need a hdmi lead for hd (and a hd ready tv) if you want the HD content.
