    hi,
applied for my jsa three weeks ago and have signed on once already(they told me the sign on date when i applied). I have had no other info from them since.
Stupid question i know but do they send you a letter out to tell you when to collect it from the post office? I just hope its not sitting there waiting for me to collect it!
    Thanks

How could they tell you the sign on date when your app hadn't even been processed at that stage? Maybe I'm missing something?

You would at some stage get a letter of approval telling you to go to the post office you selected if successful.

You receive a letter stating when your day to collect the money from the post office is. That letter should also state when you need to sign on, usually once a month. On the back of the letter it might have the next 12 months sign on dates in handwriting, so make sure you check and don't throw the letter out.
