    Hi,

Few of us in our early twenties thinking of going to Florida in November. I know the weather will be nice enough but does anyone know if places will be busy around then? Thinking Miami and the keys but we want somewhere that'll be lively, not full of old people!

    Cheers

The 'Snow-Birds' will be arriving at that time so it will be quite busy with the older folk.

Went there 2 years ago for a fortnight. 5 of us aged 26 to 30.Flew out October bank holiday.Spent the first few nights on Collins Ave. /South beach in Miami, it wasnt packed but the bars and clubs along Ocean Drive were lively enough.
Drove to Key West ,stayed there for 5 nights , I know it was off season but the craic was brilliant, everybody was all dressed up for Halloween.
Again Key west wasnt packed but there was a good crowd around .
The late bars and clubs seemed to be busy with people from nearby air force base. Everyone was really friendly to us when they noticed we were Irish. If I was going again I would explore the other Keys too but maybe thats not what a gang of lads would be into.

See if you could get to Key West for Fantasy fest we just missed it, its like a carnival where everyone goes mad for a week. Google it you will find some interesting pics. there seems to be a lot of body paint and nearly no clothes!

Headed for Orlando after that and had a look along the space coast , Kennedy space centre , stayed in Orlando (it was quiet) and Coco beach which was quiet too .

Word of warning ,the cops in Key West don't take any messing, we saw several guys get taken away for being too drunk and annoying women ,we had to keep an eye on each other!!
