Can any of you expert gardeners think of a rose or plant that I can give as a christening gift for a baby called Ava. I've tried looking on line for a list of rose species but cannot find anything. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

One of the best roses I would recommend is called Dublin Bay. It produces masses of big red roses from early summer through to autumn. Its quiet disease resistant and if let it will grow really tall and scramble through other plants. I have 2 and they are fantastic every year.:)
