Touch features present in Snow Leopard

Ok, I'm pretty certain that there will be no magic Tablet Mac at the September 9th event but came across this just now and it's pretty interesting:

    http://theappleblog.com/2009/09/01/snow-leopard-features-suggest-its-a-touchscreen-os/

It seems Snow Leopard is packing a few touch-friendly features which are pretty odd when you consider there is no Apple touch device that uses full Mac OS X - so this could be more fuel for such a device coming soon and hopefully, running the full OS X, rather than a crippled iPhone/iPod Touch variation.

    This really stands out:
Finally, Cult of Mac points out the feather in the cap of the touchscreen argument — a built-in, scalable on-screen virtual keyboard.

In Leopard, it looks like this:

    keyboard_viewer_old.png?w=590&h=368

But in Snow Leopard, it is fully resizable:

    keyboard_viewer.png?w=590&h=368

So maybe we will get an OS X tablet soon? :) (Crosses fingers, toes, etc)

Nice one. Often use it under Leopard and not being able to resize is a real pain.

What would you use this for currently?

It could be useful if you have a Mac set up as a media center, with no keyboard connected - e.g a Mini controlled by a wireless mouse or iPod/iPhone touchpad app... It's also useful for screencasts. Though again, it'd be most useful for touch input in a future product IMO...
