    hello

    does anyone know anything about claiming back pharmacy expenses? i have been paying out each month since the start of the new year and was wondering if i can claim any of this back? i have all my receipts...

    any info greatfully appreciated

    There's a drug payment scheme card whereby you dont pay over a certain amount per month on prescription charges. (think its 100euro).
    Apply for this in your local chemist.
    For any money paid on prescriptions you can claim 20% back on the med1 form from the revenue (along with gp fees etc).

    For example, if your families prescription costs came to 180euro this month, you would pay only 100, and also claim 20 euro back from revenue.
