Wondering what people think about this, basically the guy behind GOW wants gamestop to cut them in on some of the profits from selling used games. Of course gamestop make out that developers have allready been paid for the game so they shouldnt have to. This took place during the week on twitter and David ended up telling a fan of the GOW games to F**k off and not to buy the game if he is going to trade it in when he is finished . And that if gamestop dont play ball they will just shift to digital downloads and cut them out of the market.

Im not sure what Sony think on the matter and they will still need gamestop ( the largest game store) to sell its consoles i would think they would be slow to fallout with them as its not like you can download a PS3.


I think its poor form to bully gamestop as trading has ment i can purchase twice if not three times the number of games i usually do. I think Jaffe is missing that point, before i could never buy every big game that comes out but now a new game usually costs 20 euro + a game as trade in it makes it possible.

Jaffe is a pretty outspoken twat at the best of times. He has a point he just handled it wrong. He also isn't the guy behind GoW, only the first game.
