There are ways around that handling charge discussed on these forums. Search for entropay.

Easter isn't until 4 April, school holidays are a week either side of it.

Don't forget St Patricks day is on the 17th so prices probably go up that week with people being able to take a week off with only 4 holiday days.

I had flights already booked travelling midweek near the end of Sept to Paris. Checked in this sale and they are the exact same price. Some sale :D

Aerlingus are fond of the "fake sale"
But its all moot anyway as their website appears to be down since last night.
Checked again today and its still off the air.

Spot on. Continental are a lot better value than their "sale" prices. I saved over €40 and am travelling next week (oh and I got an upgrade to business too :D)

You're essentially looking at €50 minimum in taxes and charges for any return flights. That said, return flights to Amsterdam etc for €50 isn't bad really.

It says Visa Electron cards aren't liable for the extra charges - is Visa Electron the same as Visa Debit? I remember hearing that it was.

No. You need either an actual Visa Electron card (not available from any banks in Ireland) or an Entropay virtual card in Sterling (use the forum search to find out how to get one).

Argh. Time to figure out Entropay. Cheers

You do know that Continental use 3x3 planes for trans atlantic flights?
Aer Lingus on the other hand have 2x4x2 (as always) with new cabin fits, with tvs behind every seat.
Think it might be worth paying an extra €20 or so.
