high all, I'm after havin a look back through all the threads and don't see one on lamps(handheld) so I said I'd start one as I'm in the market for one.

I had a deben lamp before which cost me an arm and a leg and I spent more time fixing it then I did using it, it worked well for two outings and then it broke in some way shape or form every other night:mad:

    Need more information.

What lamp did you have? Was it a lamp bought from Debens like Lightforce or was it actually branded Deben and what model please?

What animal(s) are you looking to shoot and with what type and calibre firearm, alone or with a lamp man?

hi john sorry i couldnt replieearlier as im having problems with my pc.

to answer your question i was using a lightforce lamp im unsure of which model the battery pack was from deben and consisted of two 12v batterys in a shoulder held bag.

i hunt fox with a .223 and a friend working the lamp.

In my opinion you've already got the best lamp brand for the job.

Which model is it please?, and is it scope mounted?

I bet all it needs is to get rid of all the lamp cable below the switch. Buy a new bit of cable and connectors, bit of cutting and soldering.

I've four Lightforce lamps. The wiring is **** but they throw the best beam.
