    Hello

I have read through many threads here about about the differences between the UK G10 and Irish G10. There appears to be mixed information.

    * I do know that the Irish G10 will not have freesat HD.
    * I believe both have on/off issues picking up Irish DTV tests.
    * I have seen mixed reports about better colour settings on G10L
    * There may have been a mention of G10L missing a ethernet connection (can't locate it now)

Can any help to clarify the facts here?

Prices in powercity are down to €1033 for G10L, it could be slightly cheaper to buy up north but not if I factor in time, petrol, etc.

Freesat HD would be nice to have but I already have two coax connections going into by Sky+ box. I suspect I would never get around to getting another coax line from the dish to the TV.

Any advice on which model to go for?
    Thanks

If you have sky and have no intention of getting rid of it, i think i would go for the G10L to be honest, unless you can see yourself running another coax from the dish for the 3 FTA HD channels. BBC HD, ITV1 HD(Soon to be launched) and Luxe TV HD

Dont think the G10L has any issues picking up our DTT. Its on and off for everyone at the moment, it is only a trial anyway yet.

Also bear in mind the Panasonic 5 year warranty has expired on the 31st Aug. Powercitys price is a good one thou if you want the Mpeg4 & 1 year warranty. I'm trying up North getting it for just under the €1000 with 5 year warranty.

Good point about the warranty, I did not realise that.
That could change things alright. Where are looking up North? Currys?
