    It was OldGoat's talk of making his own wax that got me thinking about this, and a random click from Straight Razors this evening brought me to this;

    How to Make Shaving Cream for Men

    Obviously, it's not going to be the best out there, but still, worth a try - What scents would you lot use if you had your chance?

    I love fresh citrus smells...

    I've really shyed away from citris aromas lately, just overexposed I guess. If I try this I'll use sandlewood oil (if I can find any).
    You just KNOW we are going to have to make our own aftershave next.

    Aside: The article mentions menthol crystals and that reminded me of an story from a few years back. A college friend was having a quiet pint. Phil always carried a few crystals of menthol around with him that he would scratch and sniff to clear his sinuses. Idol hand syndrome took place and Phil crushed and chopped a menthol crystal on the table. As he was playing with the resultant line of white powder a third party came over, eyes lit up with greed & excitment and he 'stole' a sniff of the white powder. Cue tears of laughter from Phil and tears of pain from him as he fought with a nosefull of pure menthol. He later said that it took about 3 or 4 days before his sense of smell got over the shock and that everything he ate or drank tasted 'minty'.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

    all u need is a bar of soap and a face brush. Wet the soap and rub it with the brush, works great for me :)

    Cussons Imperial leather soap and such? Think I'll stick with the MWF soap or creams.

    Ok, I'd like to try this, but where would you get Ivory soap from? I've checked on the internet and all I really found out was that it floats and is American, does anyone know of an equivalent type I could get?
