Im looking to start studying horticulture starting next year from FETAC then into university for 3 years. i'm very interested in it, but I was wondering is there many jobs in this area (specifically working in diversity or the likes). i dont want to be another one of those people that choose to study something that interests them and then find it will probably be inpossible to get a job in. im 25 coming from nearly a completley IT background and have never been to university or done any courses.

So are there any jobs in this field in Ireland? Are they easy enough to get into for a new grad(i obviously dont mind starting with a lower job than what I want, but still in the horticulture field)?

    Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get some blackthorn wood? It seems to be quite hard to source at present.

    Cheers!

    Steve
