Anyone doing Art? Or Crashing in Cuirt Na Rasai?

Anyone know what the plan for Freshers week is?

im doing art. one word for Cuirt Na Rasai= s*hit, especially if your doing art!!!....way to far away. youll have a load of fun though, art college is great.:)

Better then Glasnan any day imo.

Sure it's a 20 minute walk.
You could fast walk it in less then 15 minutes. Cycle it in 7 minutes.

Eh, I wouldn't rely on the bus service.
And as for walking through Castlepark I did for three years and never an issue, not at any hour

And this was back when Hillside was still a halting site and there was no housing there

Ah I dont really care to be honest, I left it late to get accomodation & it looks real nice.

Ive no problem with walking, it'll save me money anyway!

Can't wait just to get down there and meet a few more people.

I had that carefree 'sure I left it late to get accommodation so screw it,I'll take anything' attitude last year,and it will seem grand at first.

Just wait until your waiting 30mins for a bus in the freezing, pissing rain and then you'll realise you made a bad desicion to stay at Cuirt na Rasai.

Its way too far away, even to go for a night out in the town. the apartments arent very big either.

It's not about the place in itself,its actually very nice,warm, comfortable good(ish) broadband, it would be excellent for students who have cars, but if not I would not recommend it because its miles away from GMIT,just my 2 cents. Plus taxi's from Eyre Square are E10+,so this add's up aswell during nights out in the year
