Just wondering if there are other websites similar to teetimes.ie that have a wider geographical selection of courses?

There are some pretty good deals on there and it's a useful site but the selection is very limited.

    Thanks in advance.

Not quite the same but I find vouchers from greenfree.co.uk very useful for getting cheaper golf. There's a list of courses on the site

Open Fairways is the only other one I can think of. Its a card that when presented at participating golf courses will entitle you to money off the round and other such deals. Its pretty good. Can get cheaper rates for hotels with it aswell.
    Their website is http://www.openfairways.com/

You can use the card abroad as well.

89 pounds to join .Seems like you only get 25% off with most courses. At least teetimes is free.

Yea I see your point. I got mine for 65 I think it was, in a deal they advertised in the evening herald. I got an extra card free off them aswell.

Well 65 is definitely more reasonable.Shame they haven't it set at that price all the time. They do have a massive selection of courses too I suppose.I don't know, I suppose if you were taking regular golf breaks/trips it'd probably be well worth it.

Well I'd say the chap that started this thread might be more deserving of it!I won't have the time to use it between now and then anyway. Thanks for the offer though.

I'm dragging up an old thread here after doing a search.
we are heading to edinburgh as a group in october and want to play golf.
I just checked out www.greenfree.co.uk or more specifically

    https://www.jrwpayments.co.uk/greenfree/?ref=&__utma=1.5775799.1311153527.1311153527.1311153973.2&__utmb=1.6.10.1311153973&__utmc=1&__utmx=-&__utmz=1.1311153973.2.2.utmcsr=google|utmccn=(organic)|utmcmd=organic|utmctr=2%20for%201%20greenfree%20vouchers&__utmv=-&__utmk=103316096

There will be about 12 of us. From what I can see, I can purchase 5 + 1 free "2 for 1 vouchers" for ~ £18

That means I will be able to get 12 green fees for the price of 6 + the £18 I pay when I purchase the vouchers?

What's the catch.. that sounds like great value as the average green fee of the courses I was looking at is £30
If I purchase the vouchers, I would end up paying £180 + £18 instead of £360..

Am I missing something? Please tell me this is ligit?

    Thanks for reading!!
