    Hey everyone.

    I would like to take up soap making as a hobby and make blocks of soap for family and friends

    Can anyone suggest how i can find more info on this.

    MATERIALS NEEDED
    EQUIPTMENT NEEDED
    THE SOAP MAKING PROCESS

    i dont know where to start but i though some of you guys could help

    You need to render (boil) fat, skim off the top layer (glycerol) and then a base (NaOH). If you add nitric acid you get nitroglycerine:D
