    Hi,

I work from home 2 days a week but have to travel to dublin to be in the office 3 days a week. I get the train and use this time to work thanks to mobile internet from O2. I also pay for accomodation in Dublin, I rent a bed in a house 2 days a week.

Can I claim any of this as expenses? Thanks for you help. Every penny counts anymore!

I don't think you can claim rent relief if you already have Mortgage Interest Relief. May be worth bearing in mind.

If while working at home you are considered an e-worker, you may be able to claim an amount per day for this.

    See Revenue leaflet IT69
