    hi all,I passed a store recently,where they were selling bits and pieces of furniture cabinets lights microwaves couches,they dont buy any items,they just accept items and then sell them again,how does this work,as i was thinking of getting into it myself

    Am surprised they do electricial goods, with WEEE regulations and the like, but it works the same as any form of retail, you buy goods and sell them at a higher price than you paid, not sure how the VAT element would work though, cannot reclaim it on many of the purchases maybe?

    OP said that the shop don't buy, they accept them. No WEEE regulation involved here - I think, charity shop.

    WEE applies to any retailer whom sells electronic/electrical goods, most charity shops no longer sell them for this reason...
