Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi all,

Has anybody any good contacts for insulation boards?

I am looking to cover 65m2 so will prob need 23 of the larger sized 2.4x1.2 boards. They also have to be 80mm.

Most prices I have back are coming in around the same €32/€33 for Kingspan or Quintherm equivelant.

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers

    What type of board?

    Is it K7, K17, K18 etc

Is it even Kooltherm you need? Is it for a cavity wall, or for a ceiling?

    hey quazzie,

I plan to externally insulate a single skinned wall (45mm thickness) in my wood cabin with 80mm foil backed insulation, polyiso I think is what I have mainly been quoted on. I intend to leave a 20mm gap then shiplap wood to finish.

My planning has been delayed again so I want to insulate the cabin considering we will have at least another two winters here!
