I would assume they can so long as it is a kickout.....
not 100% on this though.

i've seen it in games, the FB taking the kickout with the tee, no problem.

tee can only be used for kickouts

Done it myself before when our goalie's leg was sore nearly followed through and ended up on me arsé due to normally kicking from the ground
